Description
This is a Senior leadership position where I am responsible for the club's technical investment in its player base, with a particular emphasis on youth player development. Core to the role is the full implementation of the club's Technical Development plan that outlines the club's commitment to the development of its players, coaches and referees in line with the principles of Long Term Player Development.
I manage the Club's overall technical budget and direct the activities of the Club's entire technical staff faculty, including the Club's Coach Development and player development plan.
I have more than 12 years of Technical Director experience in a club of over 1300 youth players. I deliver long term player development programs, coach training and support to over teams. I supervise a technical staff of 12 paid coaches and approximately 60 volunteer coaches.

Every club or academy is different. Their requirements may be different; however, the end result of developing technically sound and tactically flexible players that have a high understanding of the game is usually the same.
